This week, Year 4 delighted audiences with their high-energy production of Pirates of the Curry Bean—a hilarious, action-packed adventure full of daring pirates, hidden treasure, and catchy songs.
Every pupil brought their character to life with enthusiasm and confidence, creating a memorable show that had the audience laughing and cheering throughout.
Behind the scenes, the pupils showed outstanding teamwork and resilience, stepping in for one another when needed and supporting each other with lines and stage directions. Their collaboration and adaptability were just as impressive as their performances, and they should be incredibly proud of how they rose to the occasion.
The lead-up to the show gave pupils a real insight into the commitment and preparation involved in staging a performance. From regular rehearsals to learning how a production comes together, it was a rewarding experience that went far beyond the spotlight
Head of Lower School, Julianne Stewart, commented:
"A big thank you to the staff for their guidance and to the parents for their ongoing support, which made the entire process run smoothly and successfully. A huge well done to all involved - it truly was an adventure to remember!"
