Our dedicated catering team prepares all the food served to our children, baking everything fresh in our own kitchen. We partner with Holroyd Howe, who are committed to providing tasty and nutritious food for all in our community.
The team puts great effort into crafting a nutritionally balanced menu that appeals to our pupils, sourcing ingredients locally and sustainably whenever possible. We understand that mealtimes are crucial to children’s daily experiences, so we aim to make them feel at home and encourage them to explore new flavours while enjoying familiar favourites.
We can usually accommodate all dietary needs, including allergies, intolerances, and cultural preferences. To help us manage these requirements effectively, we ask that parents refrain from sending food with their children to school.
All our food is tasty and we have a good balance of the things that we need to be healthy.
Year 8 Pupil
In the Prep school, meals are served in a dedicated dining room where students enjoy a canteen-style setup. Supervising staff are present to guide pupils in making healthy choices and encourage them to explore new foods. In the Pre-Prep, dining takes place in the Pre-Prep Hall, and is more akin to a family meal setting with staff sitting alongside pupils. This approach fosters a social atmosphere, helping children to view mealtimes as a communal experience where they practise table manners and are encouraged to try new dishes, much like they would at home.
Our bustling kitchen operates full throttle each day, serving a variety of meals and snacks to keep our pupils well-fed and energised. There are breakfast, lunch, and supper options daily, alongside a selection of delicious home-baked snacks and fruit. Additionally, match teas are available for parents attending sport matches, offering a delightful array of cakes and refreshments to enjoy. At the heart of the school, our kitchen is not only a hub of activity but also a place where everyone is treated to wholesome, tasty fare throughout the day.
