Cakes, coffee and Feltonfleet community spirit! | News | Feltonfleet | Private School in Surrey

This week, our school community came together for a wonderful and meaningful cause—raising money for Macmillan.

Macmillan fundraiserOur Coffee Morning event, which was part of Macmillan's nationwide campaign, aimed to raise funds for the charity’s vital work supporting people living with cancer; a cause close to many hearts. Macmillan’s reach is far and wide; funding nurses and support workers, as well as offering practical advice and emotional support to those individuals and families affected by cancer. Feltonfleet’s efforts help ensure that Macmillan can continue to provide these life-changing services and ensure that no one faces cancer alone.

Gathering in Calvi hall, the morning was filled with an exquisite variety of cakes, treats and goodies - all generously baked and supplied by members of our Feltonfleet families - in support of a charity that provides life-changing help. Good conversation, pleasant company and plenty of coffee was flowing - the event saw a fantastic turnout!

Colleagues enjoyed contributing to this event by purchasing sweet treats to enjoy in the communal staff areas throughout the day, helping further our fundraising efforts.

A huge, heartfelt thank you to everyone who made it possible - our talented bakers, parent volunteers and members of our school-wide community who supported the cause - it truly showed the power of coming together to support those in need.
