Prioritising Equity, Diversity and Inclusion in all areas of our school life | News

Dear Parents,

Thank you so much for taking the time to attend our EDI Meet and Greet event. We truly appreciate your presence, enthusiasm, and support in fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment for all of our pupils and families.

Your participation helps strengthen our school community and ensures that every voice is heard as we work together to promote equity, diversity, and inclusion.
We’re excited to continue building meaningful connections and collaborating with you throughout the year.

Thank you again for your time and commitment — it makes a real difference.

EDI

This year, we will continue to prioritise EDI in all areas of school life.

Here are some of the ways we are working toward doing this:

  • Building a curriculum that reflects diverse voices, perspectives, and experiences.
  • Providing opportunities for pupils to learn about and celebrate different cultures and traditions
  • Encouraging pupil voice and leadership, so that every child knows their contributions matter.
  • Strengthening partnerships with families and our wider community to support the well-being of all learners.

This term also saw the launch of our new ‘Belief and Beyond…’ club, open to all pupils across Year 1 and 2,  Lower, Middle, and Upper School. Through games and creative activities - such as ‘Worldview Bingo’ and considering which flags reflect our heritage, culture and identity - the club offers a fun and inclusive space to explore big questions and celebrate what makes each of us unique. Pupils are warmly invited to join us on Tuesdays after school.
