This year’s Pre-Prep Nativity - Lights, Camel, Action! - was a fantastic celebration of festive cheer and pupil creativity, performed over three mornings by Nursery, Reception, Year 1, and Year 2.
The week began with a special dress rehearsal, where our youngest pupils had the chance to perform in front of Years 3 and 4. Their older peers offered enthusiastic encouragement and thoughtful praise, helping to boost confidence ahead of the main performances.
With a playful take on Strictly Come Dancing, the production combined traditional Nativity storytelling with music, dancing, and lots of personality. Nursery opened the show with charm and sparkle, while Reception’s sheep delighted the audience with their upbeat moves. Year 1 impressed with their Shepherds’ Tango – a highlight that had everyone smiling – and Year 2 pupils brought it all together as narrators, confidently leading the story.
Head of Pre-Prep, Gerry Deen, commented:
"A big thank you goes to the Pre-Prep staff for their creativity and commitment in guiding the production, and to families for their support and applause. We are enormously proud of all the pupils for their energy, focus and joy on stage!"
