The Boarding Knighting Ceremony took place on Friday, September 12th as the boarding community came together to celebrate the start of the new year and to welcome the new Heads of Boarding into their roles.
It was wonderful to see the boarders and their families at the event and to kick off the new year with such positivity.
Rose Ramskill and Jack Wilson kicked off the event before Mr Thompson delivered his address, sharing a message of camaraderie and excitement for what the year ahead would bring.
Mrs Sieczko had then had the honour of knighting our incoming Heads and Deputy Heads of Boarding. I am delighted that Tom Wilson and Sofia Barron are the new deputy heads of boarding and Alex Meikle and Chloe Tempest are the heads of boarding.
They have all been key members of the boarding community for a number of years and have already made a superb start as leaders of a key area of school life.
Boarding presents a wonderful opportunity for our pupils to develop social skills and independence whilst having fun, action packed evenings at school. It is a very special part of our school and this was a lovely event to celebrate it!
