Our Pre-Prep Sports Day was a joyful celebration of energy, teamwork, and community spirit, made even more enjoyable by an earlier start to avoid the heat.
The morning included enthusiastic participation from Nursery, Reception, Year 1, and Year 2, with every pupil taking part with confidence and big smiles. Families turned out in great numbers, with parents, grandparents, and relatives filling the sidelines with cheers and encouragement. Miss Georgina and Mr Rishton provided wonderful commentary throughout, sharing updates on the pupil’s enjoyment and fantastic performances.
The flat races were a particular highlight, while the Nursery relay was a triumph, showing just how much our youngest pupils have grown in confidence over their first year at Feltonfleet.
Head of Pre-Prep, Gerry Deen, said:
"Pre-Prep Sports Day captures everything we value at Feltonfleet – joy in participation, encouragement from all sides, and a real sense of community. Watching every pupil give their best, supported so warmly by families and staff alike, was truly heartwarming."
We are incredibly grateful to our dedicated sports staff and the entire Pre-Prep team for organising such a smooth, fun-filled morning. The event ended with a relaxed family brunch, and the children returned to class happily exhausted, full of pride and joy.
