Feltonfleet’s Year 8 House Charity Prefects recently visited Cherry Trees, a Surrey-based charity that provides essential home-from-home care for children with complex disabilities, while offering much-needed respite for their families.
During the visit, the pupils were given a tour of the facilities by Rob Hope, who shared more about the incredible work the charity does and how donations directly support their services.
Since September 2023, Feltonfleet has proudly supported Cherry Trees, and the Prefects were delighted to present a cheque for an outstanding £41,786. This incredible total reflects the generosity of the entire school community and the fantastic fundraising efforts throughout the year.
Our Deputy Head Pastoral, Helen Marland, commented:
"A huge thank you goes to Friends of Feltonfleet for organising such successful events, and to everyone who contributed. Your support is helping make a meaningful difference to the lives of the children and families Cherry Trees cares for."
