Our broad and diverse curriculum, and co-curricular clubs, ensure that every child has the opportunity to explore and engage with a wide range of activities.
We encourage pupils to take advantage of every opportunity, helping them to discover their strengths and passions. Our goal is to support each individual in finding what they love, ensuring there is something for everyone to enjoy and excel in.
Learning spaces come in many shapes and sizes, and the broader the range of learning experiences children encounter, the richer their development. Co-curricular clubs and activities provide invaluable opportunities for pupils to explore new interests, discover more about themselves, and grow through each exciting experience. Participation in these clubs and activities not only builds character and fosters strong friendships but also instils a can-do attitude that will serve pupils well throughout their lives.

Everyone gets an opportunity to shine in whatever it is that they enjoy doing. And the breadth of syllabus is so wide that every pupil is exposed to something they enjoy. |

Clubs
Our programme of co-curricular clubs runs before and after school, as well as during some break times, for pupils from Year 1. Through a balanced choice of activities, the programme aims to maximise the impact on pupils' personal development. Activities are categorised within 5 clearly defined areas: Skills Games, Academic Challenge, Physically Active, Community, Life & Service, and Creative Minds.
With such great facilities and with so many highly-skilled teachers and coaches at our disposal, we encourage all children to take part in co-curricular activities at Feltonfleet.
Trips and Residentials
Our pupils undertake a wide range of educational visits, which are not only exciting but enrich their learning, encourage independence and help them to access the wider world around them. Day trips range from theatre trips to visits to chocolate factories, nature reserves and planetariums, and are linked to topics being studied in the curriculum at the time.
In the Prep school, our pupils are encouraged to attend at least one residential trip each year. As well as being great fun, these trips are designed to foster independence, team work, initiative and leadership skills. Trips on offer range from coasteering on the Jurassic Coastline, conservation studies in Pembrokeshire, cultural immersion trips to France or Spain, wilderness challenges at a Bushcraft Camp to skiing in the Alps and cricketing in Barbados. Unforgettable experiences that combine personal growth with global perspective.
Our Bush Skills camping trip was so much fun! The time passed so quickly because we were so busy, I can’t wait for next year’s residential which is even longer.

Outdoor Learning
Outdoor learning is woven into the fabric of school life, offering pupils opportunities to explore, discover and create beyond the classroom walls. Whether it’s investigating pond life in a science lesson, enjoying quiet reading in the garden, sketching natural forms in the woodland, or seeking out architectural details during a DT scavenger hunt, our outdoor spaces spark curiosity and support engagement across the curriculum.
