Bursary Preliminary Enquiry Form

Before a formal application for Bursary assistance can be assessed, all applicants are required to provide us with full details of their family income and assets, with full supporting documents.

This can be quite time consuming. However, we are able to give a preliminary indication of whether a bursary might be available and at what possible level, if we are given indications of the family’s total income and assets. Supporting documents will not be required at this initial stage.

All Feltonfleet bursaries are means-tested and the amount of the bursary award, which could be a fee discount of up to 100%, is not decided by a child’s level of academic ability but by the extent of financial need. As a general rule of thumb, bursary applicants with an income of the range of £40,000 - £50,000 pa would generally expect to receive assistance in whole or in part. The process remains confidential.

Preliminary Application: In order to receive a preliminary indication of whether a Bursary might be available and at what level, applicants should complete the pupil’s details below, and provide the outline income and assets figures requested in the form below.

Please show the total gross income to the nearest £1,000 - earned income (without any deductions for Tax, National Insurance, Pension Payments etc), investment income, benefit income (including tax credits) and maintenance payments - include all people who contribute to the family finances.

Please state to the nearest £50,000, the approximate total value of everything owned by the family: houses, vehicles, business, savings, valuables etc.

(Please do not make any deductions for mortgages or other debts but show them separately below.)
