Anti-Bullying Culture

At Feltonfleet, our community of staff, day pupils and boarders is based upon respect, good manners and fairness.

We are committed to providing a safe and caring environment that is free from disruption, violence and any form of harassment so that every one of our pupils can develop his or her full potential.  We expect our pupils to treat members of staff with courtesy and co-operation so that they can learn in a relaxed but orderly, atmosphere.  All pupils should care for and support each other and live by the Feltonfleet core values of honesty, responsibility, respect and kindness.

Bullying, harassment, victimisation and discrimination will not be tolerated and any such allegation will be regarded very seriously. We treat all our pupils and their parents with consideration and we expect this to be reciprocated.  Any kind of bullying is unacceptable.

With this in mind Feltonfleet has lots of preventative measures to stop unkind and bullying behaviour including programmes of study in PSHE Education, themed assemblies and annual  Anti-bullying Workshops. Year 8 pupils in positions of responsibilty act as mentors to the younger pupils and are available to talk to any pupils with worries or concerns.
