The rain held off and Year 8 had a tremendous day at Warwick Castle. A tour of the castle was followed a visit to the Kingmaker exhibition. Lunch followed, where we were joined by some hungry and inquisitive peacocks. Then off to an impressive trebuchet display. Silenced reigned as the 30kg rock soared across the Warwick sky. The birds of prey proved fascinating. The day finished with the Bowman display, and outstanding talk about the longbow, medieval armour and warfare. Thank you to Mrs Cameron and Mr Kumar for accompanying the trip and to Year 8 for their outstanding behaviour.
