An early start at INSET

It is customary to start every new term with staff training, but rarely has our INSET been so intensive, and so valuable. Jackie Beer, a nationally acclaimed educational leader worked with us to further develop our efforts to establish a culture of creativity and inquiry; David Thompson took this onwards with a focus on learning leadership; Governors and support staff joined the teachers to think our school values, and alongside this subject and departmental meetings and planning time, and some INSET on use of the new swimming pool and astro. An excellent two days, and the most positive of starts to our new year.
