With a lowest individual score of 95 out of a possible 100, and a team average of 97.7, our 8-man .22 target rifle squad under the guidance of instructor Major Adcroft, has achieved something remarkable in gaining top position of the National Under-14 League – just one term after regaining entry to the top flight. Competing against two Ardvreck squads and another from Ellesmere, the highest 6 scores from each squad led to Feltonfleet gaining 586, while the Ardvreck teams accumulated 584 and 574, with Ellesmere totalling 577. This result is made even more special with the fact that one has to go back a long way to find a time when Ardvreck were not at the top!
