On Thursday, the 20th May, Year 1 had a fabulous school trip to the Natural History Museum. Our day was incredibly action packed and we started off in the wildlife garden pretending to be jungle explorers. We had to try and identify as many mini beasts as possible and saw lots of interesting creatures, including a frog under a log and 10 tadpoles. After that, we had a walk around the dinosaur exhibition and saw an electronic T-Rex which was incredibly lifelike. We also saw two puppet shows and learnt about the life cycle of a frog and butterfly. We even managed to squeeze in a walk around the ‘Creepy Crawly’ and ‘Mammal’ exhibitions. A very busy and fun filled day was had by all!
