Actually, can’t recall all of the scores except Mr D. Pearce’s excellent top staff score of 96, which with his partner Tom Hamill rendered them the winners of the pairs competition, while the pupil squad were winners of the team competition with an outstanding set of scores – better than their usual entries for the national league! Clearly an opportunity to beat the teachers inspired them.

The evening was a great success. Thanks to Pat, Amanda, Sarah B, David and James L (you’ll have a proper chance next time James). The pupils Cameron Montgomerie, Oscar Pearce, Tom Hamill, Ben Draper and Fred Myers were ably led by team captain Joshua Hardy and supported by Katie Hinkly and Abbie Wheelan, and were very helpful in advising the novice staff and supporting our efforts.
