Singing Day-April 27th 2010

Feltonfleet hosted a singing day, in which St Andrew's School, a local primary school from Cobham, and our Middle choir ( Year 5 and 6 ) enjoyed an excellent day's worth of singing. It involved learning a selection of songs from: "Oliver", "Pochohontas", "The Lion King" and "Joseph". There were 64 children involved, which incidentally was the name of one of the songs "When I'm 64". Some of the children from both schools were so enthusiastic that they sang solo lines to some of the songs to an appreciative audience in the informal concert at the end of the day. Congratulations to all of the performers, to the staff from St Andrew's, our school catering team for providing the extra lunches and snacks, as well as Mrs Emma Hawksley, our excellent accompanist. I also did a little bit of work too!
