Mamma Mia- May 7th 2010

The music scholars and prefects from Year 8 were invited to go see a matinee performance of “Mamma Mia” at the Prince of Wales theatre in London, as a way of thanking them for their contribution to the musical life of the school over the past year. Travelling by minibus and the London Underground, we sang along with the Best of Abba CD to get us in the mood for the show. It was a fabulous occasion, with the Abba songs having been cleverly weaved into the storyline, which allowed the audience to sing along with the “hits”. What a “Super Trooper” of a day.
