YEAR 7 LEADERSHIP- HOP FARM KENT

Last weekend Year 7 enjoyed an activity packed weekend with Treejumpers in Kent.  The pupils took part in various outward bound activities such as zip wire, the t bar, Jacobs ladder, initiative exercises, climbing, archery, hydo-ball and much more.  They even played a giant paintball game where many got involved with strategy planning on how to defend against and conquer their opponents. Saturday afternoon was dedicated to survival and the pupils learnt how to survive in the woods using the resources around them.  Beware the mutant alpacas!

 Many of the activities took our pupils out of their normal comfort zone and despite a few hesitations and wobbly moments they all faced their fears and met their challenges.  The support of the year group for each other was commendable.

The weekend proved a great success and the centre staff praised all their groups for the behaviour and super attitude throughout the weekend.  A couple highlights and moments to remember have to be the campfire songs and the performances of the songs by the pupils and the chocolate game.

Well done to all pupils and big thanks to all staff for their support and energy
