What a day the Juniors had – the sun shone and the entertainment was fantastic. Year 4 started with the French play Pinot – performed in French with wonderful singing and dancing. Then we were entertained by the musicians and choir for the Junior School. Who will forget Alex Johnson on the drums! Picnics followed and then, a quick change, Sports day began. Despite the heat, the children ran, hurdled, jumped and threw, the parents cheered and we all ended the day with a fantastic tea, prepared by Dan and his team.

Years 3 & 4 performed some excellent plays for their parents as part of Junior Day on Tuesday 22 June. The Y4 play was called “Pinot” and it was the “world premiere” of scenes 1 & 2 and Marie Atallah, the playwright and composer was in the audience and she said that the performance was “sensational” and the standard of acting very high. A triumph for the pupils and staff involved.
