Week 3 of the new floodlit astro

I can’t think of a project which I have ever seen taking shape more quickly than the new floodlit astro. Here we are at the end of week 3 and it’s very close to being ready for the tarmac gang prior to the laying of the rubber base and the astro turf itself. Next stage is for the fencing to go in, and once the tarmac has been laid it won’t be long before it starts to look like an astro. Very much on schedule for completion in mid-August, and please make a diary note of the weekend September 18/19 which we have set aside for a series of events to mark the official opening of this brilliant new facility.
