Year 5

Year 5 have begun a mini project on Hadrian’s Wall. We began with a discussion based on what they had already learnt in Minimus and from their general knowledge, then we watched a dvd about the wall concentrating on answering the questions ‘What? Where? Why? Who? When? How?’.  In pairs they are now creating a display using images and words to answer these questions.

Year 7

Year 7 are continuing with their 2nd creative project of the year. This one is a joint ICT and Classics project about life in the Roman Empire in the 1st century AD. They are using Pompeii as their initial research model. The project is divided into a research section and then once this is completed they will create a brief and informative hyperlinked powerpoint presentation.
