On Wednesday, Year 2 had fun making bread and butter.  We have been learning about ‘the story of milk’ and different kinds of bread from around the world in Geography, so we decided to put our cooking skills to the test!  We followed a basic bread recipe, weighed and measured the ingredients and made individual rolls.  Making butter was so much fun.  We took some empty jars, and half-filled them with whipping cream.  We had to shake the jars for about 10 minutes whilst dancing to music.   The best bit was eating the bread and butter after all our hard work!

Nursery Class enjoyed a very creative week of baking and decorating cakes for Miss Barford’s birthday and painting then cleaning their new outdoor perspex painting wall. According to one child in Nursery the best bit was “washing it off with the bubbles and brush”!
