Year 2 Sayers Croft Feb 2010

On Tuesday 2nd February, Year 2 went on a trip to Sayers Croft in Cranleigh.  We went into the woods to collect various mini-beasts that we found underneath logs, and on the ground.  We then classified the mini-beasts that we found into different groups.  We looked at them closely with magnifying glasses and looked carefully at how many legs they had.  After lunch we went back to the woods and worked in groups to build our own shelters using logs and large branches.  We wore yellow hard hats to keep safe.  We had lots of fun and got really muddy!
