Year 1 waited patiently for a break in the rainy weather and went outside to conduct a traffic survey on Thursday morning.  They thoroughly enjoyed this activity and counted cars and lorries, frantically recording their findings in a tally chart.  Unfortunately, they didn’t see any bicycles but we did make a record of other modes of transport.  They even saw a digger been transported on the back of a lorry.  Once the survey was complete, Year 1 returned to class and entered their results into a block graph.
