The pond squad launches into action

The remarkable re-emergence of the pond in the woods took another leap forward on Sunday when a gang of volunteers responded to Simon Pomeroy’s cry for helpers to cut, hack, carry and clear areas around the pond which has been excavated over the summer. Good progress, and great fun, and thanks to everyone who helped.
