Four children from Year 8 spent a great day at Wellington College on Thursday 15th October, taking part in their ‘Debating Day’. They got the chance to work in small groups, with children from various other prep schools, and have a go at performing in a formal debate, in the British Parliamentary format.

One pupil was brave enough to take part in the demonstration debate at the end of the day. He performed extremely well, and showed that he can counter-argue very effectively and speak in a confident & eloquent fashion. Well done to all the debaters and thank you for your contributions!
