A flying start to the rugby season

Home wins for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd XV, and an away win for the U-11A teams playing against Highfield made this one of the most successful opening days to a rugby seasons for many years. On a day when many of our netball teams won as well, we can look forward positively to the next round of matches. Our roving snapper caught a few moments of the commanding 1st XV performance where Greg Garner, a full time professional referee with the RFUI and previously a Feltonfleet teacher, ensured a fast and impressive game.
