It was, the occasion which marks the start of Christmas at Feltonfleet. Over one hundred of our grandparents imbibed on coffee, mince pies, and a glass or two of mulled wine, before joining in enthusiastically as the Chamber Choir serenaded us with festive carols. Coats back on and in the company of their adoring grandchildren, time to walk off the imbibing and a grand tour of the school. A lovely morning, and some wonderful people, some never having missed a single grandparent's Christmas coffee morning since we introduced them in 2001.
