Year 6 spent an exciting and sunny day at Canterbury Cathedral. Their visit included a visit to a hands on workshop where they practised various crafts and skills that were common in Becket’s day. They also took part in a monk’s trail around the Cathedral. Having dressed up in various costumes they acted out the murder of Thomas Becket as it happened on 29th December 1170. To cap a wonderful day, the children’s’ behaviour was impeccable. Well done
