Prep and Senior School Boarding Conference

Boarding sector professionals from prep and senior schools gathered at Feltonfleet for our first Boarding Schools INSET and Forum. Over sixty colleagues from forty schools, along with our own boarding staff, listened intently to the INSET presented by Jackie Cox which considered family and parental attitudes on boarding children. The day concluded with a forum, and questions, debate and shared wisdom flowed freely. Peter Harnden, Head of Boarding at Feltonfleet, was one of the expert panellists, and we were also joined by Sue Shaw, one of the Ofsted team which we worked so closely and successfully with us during our outstanding Ofsted inspection last November. Feltonfleet is strongly associated with excellence in prep school boarding and professional development of teachers and support staff. As one of the attending delegates wrote afterwards;
