School Skiing and Snowboarding Trip to Passo del Tonale, 2009
With the sun shining for most of the week, the “Val di Sole” lived up to its name, as did the hotel, Piandineve, or “Plain of Snow”. Skiing in Tonale is a joy, with a wide choice of pistes, great conditions and the best of Italian food! We skied many new slopes this year, and that is after three years of visiting the same resort! The children were a credit to themselves, the School and their parents and their good behaviour was commented on by many adults in resort and on route. The school skiing trip is unique at Feltonfleet involving boys and girls from Year 5 to Year 8 and it is great to see new friendships developing across the age and gender divides. We look forward to an exciting trip in 2010 and extend an invitation to all those children currently in Years 4, 5, 6 and 7 to come. Further details will be available very soon.
