On parade at Pompey

The Historic Naval Dockyard at Portsmouth, an annual destination for the Headmaster and his Year 8. And we returned there again today. What a great day it was – a pleasant coach journey, met by actors in costume, a leisurely wander around he fascinating Mary Rose museum, all aboard the Victory, the Mary Rose itself in its remarkable ship hall, lunch and chocolate crepes, the obligatory team photo, and the terrific Royal Navy Action Stations. And if that wasn’t enough, a lovely cruise around the harbour. Home by 5.30pm, job done. More to the point, a happy day for Year 8 as they wend their way towards the end of their final term with us.
