On Friday afternoon the Junior school, families and all moved to the sunny climes of Calvi field for an enjoyable afternoon of picnicking and sports. The weather stayed fine as the children anxiously moved into their sections and waited for the crack of Mr Falkus’s starting gun that would signal the beginning of the Junior sports day! The atmosphere of the day was exceptional as were some of the races, all of which were well cheered on by parents and children alike- special mention must go to the badgers whos cheering was second to none!! The scores remained close throughout the day but few could have expected the nail biting finish that awaited us all- with one race remaining the top three teams were split by only 3 points and all was to play for. The race was frantic with the children giving their all but in the end the Foxes crossed the line first, taking the win and more importantly the Sports day trophy!!

A massive thank you to all the sports day staff, the parents and most importantly the children who made it a thoroughly pleasurable experience for everyone involved.
