The Juniors had a fun packed week and their teachers were impressed with the children’s enthusiasm and involvement.
Year 4 were out collecting bugs on Monday afternoon as part of a minibeast safari lead by Dr Hames.
Year 3 and 4 displayed some fantastic team work during an eco friendly art attack lead by Mr Perkins on Tuesday afternoon.
On Wednesday Year 4 headed off to Butser Ancient Farm and Year 3 to Ladyland Farm. Despite early torrential downpours both groups had a great day and the children were a credit to the school.
Friday was charity day. Year 4 paid to dress up as wild animals and had a talk by the Wild life trust. Mrs Pegg and Miss Bray entered into the fun by dressing too! Year 3 amazed their teachers with their determination and commitment all completing the mini marathon of 26 laps of the school track! They haven’t collected all the money in yet but hope to have raised a good amount for Abbie’s fund.
A great week and well done to everyone!
