The Leonardo Lecture

Music my Life was the title of the first ever Leonardo Lecture, and it fell to the charismatic and talented Director of Music at Reeds School, Ian Carnegie, to present the first in this special lecture series. Accompanied by a team of young musicians from Reeds, Ian talked about his passion for music and the way it has shaped his life. His audience of Year 8 pupils, their parents and specially invited guests enjoyed a stunning programme of music, and Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah brought a wonderful afternoon to a stunning conclusion. Our warm thanks to Ian Carnegie and his young musicians for making this such a great way to end our week.
