New year, new people, and new places!

A very happy new year to you all. The term began with a gathering of the whole staff in the splendid new hall at Calvi. Quite rightly, Jan Preece, the Head of Calvi, is thrilled with the new developments.

And it is the warmest of welcomes for the coldest of starts to the new year for Ben Martin, our new Director of Drama, and our newly arrived GAP students, (Ed Craig, Alex Montefiore, Sophie Taylor, and Rebekah Langford). Ben Martin joins us from the staff at Danes Hill. He is teaching English as well as leading our drama, and we wish well for his first Feltonfleet production involving Year 5 later this term, “A bit of Pooter’s Magic”. Our GAP students have come to us from Knox GS and Roseville College in Sydney, and we wish them well for a happy and successful year with us.
