Taming of the Shrew
A very impressive cast of year 7 and 8 children performed a highly polished and incisive production of Taming of the Shrew at Leatherhead Theatre last week. This was Mirry Bryan’s final school production as our departing Head of Drama, and she can feel exceptionally proud of her cast and those who supported them, including three other colleagues in Alasdair Richardson, Louise Crawford, and Josh Wiseman. The play was put on as part of the English Schools Shakespeare Festival and was notable for many things, not least the pace and depth of the individual performances. The play will be performed again, at school, after half-term and I would urge you to get hold of a ticket if you can. In the meantime, warmest congratulations to everyone concerned.
