Another storming win for SP’s 3rd XI

The 3rd XI football team are in rampant form this term, and they stormed to another excellent win on Saturday with a 5-1 thrashing of their opposition from Homefield. Dalvyn Hayden was in fine form again though the whole team displayed their skills in a fluent and impressive display. Simon Pomeroy, their proud coach, attributes their great form this season to an excellent level of team spirit. That is indeed so, but his admirable coaching and encouragement might just have played a part, too!
