Inspection – it’s behind us at last
It was a gruelling inspection week, but a successful one, and when Friday came round it was a chance to relax (if only a little). The Year 4 and 5 boys headed off for their residential weekend on the Isle of Wight, the girls left behind seized their chance to make some party hats, some older girls played some football as a break from a busy netball programme, the campus was bathed in sun shine, and the smiles of relief all round were clearly evident (even if we all felt whacked). And the week ended with an astonishingly polished and professional performance of Taming of the Shrew by our senior pupils at Leatherhead Theatre, a happy and much enjoyed Friends of Feltonfleet Mothers Dinner, and the 1st and 3rd XI’s victorious in their football matches on Saturday. “We never close” might aptly capture the community spirit of our school, and with the next whole school inspection now a distant six years away, the school is a better place the ever to be part of. Well done everyone.
