A good term so far – it’s all in the planning!
“Happiness seems to be an elusive state in these uncertain times, but you wouldn’t think so on the evidence of the way your children have lived their lives at school so far this term. I am thrilled with the positive and upbeat mood around the school, of the endeavour and ambition which is permeating our school. My theme for the year, the impact of positive role models, has been especially evident in the efforts and example setting of the children in Year 8, and not just those who are Prefects. Year 8 are a smashing group of young people; good fun, sensible, hard working and impressively generous in terms of the support which they give one another, and to younger children. They are the embodiment of The Feltonfleet Way and my congratulations to them all”
And I am sure a key reason why we can move towards half-term in such good shape was partly because of the excellent preparation just before term started. Some very good teacher INSET, including a session on stress management (!), and a Year 8 leadership day have all played their part.
