Congratulations to the U11 A’ Netball Team, who won the Guildford High School U11 Netball Tournament on Wednesday 12th November.

They came first out of 15 Teams (including Senior Schools, such as Tormead and St. Teresa’s). They drew one match and won all 6 of the remaining matches. Their final round matches were against St. Ives, St. Catherine’s and Barrow Hills. They beat St. Ives – 8-7, St. Catherine’s - 6-3 and Barrow Hills - 10-6.

The girls showed real commitment and energy and their play won compliments from several other coaches. All of the girls played to a high standard but a special mention is needed for Isabel McClean, who fought hard, playing in three different positions throughout the tournament, and Clemmie Ryder-Smith, who displayed superb pace and incredibly accurate shooting.
