The crosses which make up our Field of Remembrance from Remembrance Day stand proudly still beside the Perrott Hill tree. Some of our senior girls and their friends from Perrott Hill School gathered around them on Saturday following the annual fixtures against our friends from Somerset. Perrott Hill School grew out of the Feltonfleet evacuation to North Perrott during WWII.
The Remembrance Day Service which took place on November 11th was a very moving occasion. We marked the end of World War One and thought carefully about the sacrifices still being made by our servicemen and women in 2008. After the service some of our boarders who read in the service stood beside the memorial to Richard Palmer, an old boy who was killed in action in Iraq in 2006.
