Boarders' Halloween Party
Boarding is not just about getting all that prep and fieldwork completed as this week's Halloween Party showed.
The boarders were treated to a full steak dinner and plenty of jelly and worms were consumed as well! We then have a great party that involved a "Trick or Treat" pass the parcel. The parcel had loads of sweets, toys and other lovely gifts like old socks, used tea bags and cloves of garlic.
The "Wrap your Mummy" competition involved teamwork and imagination: well done to James Banfield, the best dressed mummy. After the games we explored the campus and took in a little trick or treating by visiting Mr Barnes, Miss Gray and Mr and Mrs Ward - thanks for the treats!
The evening concluded with some spooky happenings in the Sport hall and a ghost story in the Library. After calming the boarders down and reassuring them that it was all made up they finally went to bed to have sweet nightmares -I mean dreams!
