The rugby season is finally underway.

The 1st XV opened their season with a tough encounter at home to Highfield. The visitors eventually claimed a win, but had to withstand a torrid second half which bought two Feltonfleet tries as the 1st XV (with a number of Year 7 boys making their debut) battled away relentlessly.

Graham Owton, a former colleague at Feltonfleet and now a housemaster and the 1st XV coach at Wellington College, made a welcome return to referee the game.
