SATIPS Art Exhibition Concerts May 2008

On Tuesday June 13th and Thursday June 15th, a selection of our talented musicians performed a concert in support of the SATIPS Art Exhibition, which this year was hosted by Feltonfleet School. The first concert featured a number of our most talented instrumentalists, ranging from Year 4 to Year 8, some of whom have recently been awarded music scholarships to various Independent Schools. The Choral Concert displayed the vocal ability of both the Chamber and Junior choirs, as well as number of soloists from Years 4 to 8. Indeed, a number of the peripatetic music staff performed with some of the pupils, either as accompanists or as part of an ensemble. Congratulations to all of them, and in particular Mrs Emma Hawksley, the new Assistant Director of Music.
