On ‘World Book Day’, Thursday 6th March, Calvi and Years 3 and 4 were visited by Val Biro, the author and artist who created the ‘Gumdrop’ series of picture books. He has produced 37 books in this series. The children were able to see the ‘Gumdrop’ car, pictured below, and they heard all about how he illustrates the books.
