It was snowing in Cobham on Easter Sunday as this year’s intrepid skiers and snowboarders set off for Passo del Tonale in the Italian Dolomites. The conditions were even better than last year, with fine powder and lots of sunshine. A good snowfall half way through the week ensured that the slopes remained in tip-top form. The instructors were fantastic and, with four groups, everyone was suitably challenged and made great progress. A newly constructed snow park enabled the snowboarders to try out some tricks. Après-ski highlights included the bum-boarding run behind the hotel, swimming in Ponte di Legno, pizza night, the horse racing game, sled-biking, karaoke and the disco. We returned through Heathrow’s Terminal 5 with relative ease to be greeted by eager mums and dads. The children were impeccably behaved and their conduct was commented on in our hotel, in the resort and during both flights. An outstanding week!
