Dick Whittington and the Scaredy Cat

There was much excitement for Calvi pupils on the last Wednesday of term, when Nursery and Reception pupils were treated to a most original and entertaining performance of Dick Whittington and the Scaredy Cat by the Barking Dog travelling theatre company. They were joined by 70 pupils and their teachers from five local Nurseries, namely Downside, Little Sparrows (both Hersham and Esher), Martyrs Green, and Red Balloon. Our guests were collected in school minibuses and the morning finished off with snacks and a play in brilliant, winter sunshine in the Calvi playground.
