On 21st April Year 5 visited the Roman Museum at Verulamium (St Albans). We were lucky with the weather and had a lovely day exploring the ruins of the theatre and town houses and looking at the hypocaust and mosaic. We then explored the museum, finding out the answers to the questions on our worksheets and enjoyed a hands on workshop based on Roman market stalls. We all got to dress up in Roman clothes and discussed how life has changed since Roman Times.
